Dear participant of the congress:

Multi-scale Modeling of Flow and Transport in Porous Media
Congress Centre Stefano Franscini
Monte Verita, Switzerland
April 7 - 12, 2006

Please find below the preliminary schedule and the abstracts of the presentations.
More information and a definite program will follow in about two weeks!

Oral presentations:
The duration of an oral presentation is 15 minutes plus additional 5 minutes for discussions. Due to the large number of oral presentations (39), the chairmen and chairwomen are obliged to strictly enforce the limit of 15 minutes to give all participants the same opportunity to present their work. For a keynote, 30 minutes of presentation plus 15 minutes of discussion are scheduled.

Poster presentations:
The poster presentations are scheduled for Sunday afternoon. The posters will remain on the boards for the rest of the conference. Before the opening of the poster session, all authors of a poster have the opportunity to present the topic of the poster with ONE Power Point slide. You can upload your transparency on a laptop at Monte Verità. The poster format is A0 including both letter and landscape format

Please check carefully if your contribution has been classified as a poster or oral presentation and let us know immediately if you do not agree. In addition, control the uploaded abstracts at the homepage of the congress, http://porous-media.org

Please send all comments and questions to
Liliana Cantoreggi,
Phone:           +41 91 785 4055
Fax:                +41 91 785 4050

See you soon at Monte Verità!
